Jenn Collins is a mixed media artist living and working in Dallas, TX.

I’m a self-taught mixed media artist exploring abstraction, colors, movement, and texture to create pieces of art that are both balanced and visually appealing.

I’ve always enjoyed making art and being creative in any form. My art has slowly evolved as I continue to explore different mediums. My abstract art is a free-flowing and relaxing practice for me. While each piece is personal to me, I leave it up to the viewer to interpret its meaning and significance to them. I also enjoy creating illustrations that have a whimsical feel to them.

I draw inspiration from nature, music, my travels, and various childhood memories. I usually start with a particular color combination and just go wherever my imagination leads me, keeping in mind that there are no mistakes in art, only opportunities to explore and create something unique.

I primarily work with watercolors, acrylics, gouache, soft pastels, and ink on paper using an assortment of tools and techniques. My original abstract art and illustrations are created from my home studio in the suburbs of Dallas, TX.
